DVD to iPod

Can anyone recommend reliable (and easy to use) software to transfer DVD’s to an iPod Touch, so I can watch films that I already own on DVD on my iPod, without having to buy the film again on iTunes.

I have used THIS before.

Worked a treat. You will have to purchase it but you do also get an initial trial period.

Worth a free try at least.....

I use DVD Decrypter to rip and Videora to convert the files to for use on my touch. Both are free. DVD Decrypter is a bit hit and miss with some of the copy protection though. I've heard of some people who use Handbrake and DVD Shrink. I haven't so can't comment on their merits.

I found DVD Shrink the easiest to use. I've tried Handbrake and all I got was errors but nothing to indicate why the errors occurred. On the same DVD's DVD Shrink just processed the DVD without any problems at all.
