Denon 1940 £199 or Toshiba HD EP35 £270 from Amazon with 7 free hddvd films according to What hi-fi team the Toshiba's dvd playback is more or less the same as Denon 1940.
Word of warning Ps3 dvd playback was really poor with my Sony 40 W2000 display, so am using my Panasonic EX75 dvd recorder.It has better sharpness,blacks and more solid motion.
I am planing on getting a Tosh hddvd.
