I read with interest your review and subsequent award for the Samsung LE26a456, and was considering buying one for my kitchen. However I have noticed that Samsung make an LE22a456 also. This size is more suited to the size of my kitchen and the spec appears to be the same so can I assume the same performance from the smaller model? This is also a question I should ask generally as i have oftern been impressed with a TV reviewed in your magazine but unsure as to whether or not your recommendation applys to the same model in a different size. If not are there any rules I can apply,? ie same spec such as a particular Bravia engine for instance on a sony

tvs shrink greatly once wall mounted and there is a good size difference between the two i wold always go bigger but its more important how far away you will be sitting from the screen

different size tvs even from same range differ in quality as issues are less visable on smaller screens so prob safe that smaller screen will be as good but larger maybe worse best to view

Hi,

Reviews given within the magazine and online are applicable to that particular model only.

A different size screen can have different characteristics which would then be revealed within it's own in depth test.

As matengawhat has stated, best for you to actually view both TV's for your own satisfaction, using the original test details and result as a guide only.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers,

Cofnchtr.
