Just been looking at the website as I was interested in the Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro. I suppose that you are talking about the USB soundcard. Apparently it works in Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) except for the volume control.

My experience with USB devices on the Mac is that they usually work without installing special drivers.

Thanks for that. I found a few discussions to, some say no some yours say yes. I was really just after a stop gap until I can afford to get a high end one. Cheers
