Desktop speakers

I have decided to buy a pair of desktop speakers. I have £200 to spend and am at the moment trying to decide between the Bose companion 20s and the Adam audio F5s, which should i go for? Of course, any other suggestions would be welcomed.

They need to be fairly loud, sound decent and not hurt my eyes whenever i look at them.

I would go for the Adams but can you get them for £200? These are often sold as single monitors not pairs, they are proper studio speakers.

Have a look at active speakers under £200. Yamaha etc etc, but I certainly wouldn't part with 200 for those Bose PC speakers.
