Denon x6200 no sound

Typical, World Cup on and the 6200 no sound. Has errors on sound board, so have to send back for warranty repair. No surround sound for for a few weeks!

Especially when England are doing well. Do you have AVR to fall back on. If it is a Sony you have, switch over to 'stadium' in the sound settings. It really sounds awesome. I enjoyed watching cricket matches in that mode 🙂

No spare receiver I’m afraid...

sounds ok on the panny PDP and watch on the LG TV when it’s on BBC UHD and not bad sound, but not as good a surround sound 🙁

waiting to see what Peter Tyson can do to turn it around and repair !

So Hermes have lost the denon and can’t find it in their depot and hasn’t been delivered to PT.

Hermes customer service is disgraceful because their CSC team don’t have the right level of authorisation to start a search for my lost AVR and I now have to email their complaints department and have to wait another 5 days so they can instigate an investigation to find out where my AVR is. It’s been nearly 3 weeks without my Denon!

I think it’s been nicked and may call the police, but not sure if they will do anything!

They only cover up to £300 and is a school boy error on my part because I should have researched other couriers and now I may have to buy a much cheaper replacement!!!

Hermes have a terrible reputation. Always found the Post Office/Parcel Force to be the best, even if not the cheapest.
