I am planning to buy a HTS and I am not good with brands. I have these three options
DENON(AVR2308)+Monitor Audio (MA)(BRONZE) + DENON 1740 DVD PLAYER (AU $ 3850)
MARANTZ(SR-4002)+JAMO S606 (AU $3000)
DENON(ACR-2308)+FOCAL(CHORUS 716)+ + DENON 1740 DVD PLAYER (AU $4500)
I have listened to DENON(AVR2308)+MA(BRONZE) / MA(SILVER) and was impressed.
I found the sound a bit bright on the FOCAL speakers and dont have a chance to compare these with MARANTZ(SR-4002)+JAMO S606 as it is hard to find a store with demo setup in Melbourne. Can you please suggest me a better option or help me select a decent one from the above three.
And also, what do you reccon about VSX-LX70 as i can get it for almost hald price
