After 3 long weeks I have just got my 2310 back from Denon, after the amp circuit had failed. Relieved to find the audissey settings e.g speaker distance etc had not been altered and so hooked it all up to resume movie watching. However the front height channels no longer output any sound. The set up is as before with front height mode engaged, and the the GUI highlights them each when using the test tone in Manual Set Up: Speaker Set Up: Speaker Level. I am pretty familiar with the setting up options, having had the amp since October, so don't think I've missed anything and the speakers are hooked up correctly( and are in working order - checked this).
Before staggering back to the retailer with the thing, can anybody suggest what may be wrong (other than the repairer forgetting to reconnect those output terminals to the new amp circuitry)?
BTW, following another recent WHF thread on build quality/country of manufacture of the 2310, I have checked on the back - China for mine!
