Denon Avr 1400 h - no headphone output

I've connected an headphone to the front panel connector but no sound comes .

Is there something to check ?

Do those headphones work when plugged into anything else with a headphone socket?
I mean are you sure the headphones themselves are fine.
More likely you need to set the headphone output level manually, check the manual....

I don't think ; tis is the user manual : Denon user manual

Put "headphones" into the search box of the manual

this should not make any difference as long as you have the correct adapter

If they work on your PC and i-pad, then clearly they would work on your Denon (if there is actually an output on its socket).

(By the way, recheck your measurements:
On your TRS plug, going from the pointed end you've got Tip, Ring and Sleeve.
Your 2 resistance probes go on tip and sleeve to measure left - and ring and sleeve to measure right driver - each a bit less than 2.1 k ohms now surely?)

You are right ; the resisteance of the mic is 2.1 k ohm . The resistance of the drivers is more less .

I ve used the headphone with adaptator on a c’è player and works .

Now I’m sure the denon has a defect

could it be only a connector failure
