I would doubt on a 32" screen you would see much if any difference, the 2500BT is a fantastic machine for both PQ and SQ but some would gripe over the slow load times with Blu Ray personally the load time does not bother me.
What amp are you connecting it to?

Depends. For blu-ray 1080p/24 pictures, you'll struggle to notice any difference. For DVDs, PS3 is a decent upscaler although there are better machines. As your TV is only 32 inches, the difference may not be as pronounced.
I would strongly recommend you to take your PS3 along to to your dealer & arrange a demo to compare.
