Dali Zensor 3, worth an upgrade to ?

Hello

It's my birthday on Sunday. I will be able to splash some cash down the A/V route for a change.

I am hoping to change the hifi in the main room (40' x 25' with tall ceilings about 10') from the Denon Unit I have in there (DRA-F107DAB) to a newer better model but only have standard (crappy) Technics speakers on it. Now My Big bedroom (20' x 15') has the DM38DAB with Monitor Audio Br1 speakers.

I'm hoping for some advice on whether the Zensor 1s or 3s are worthy of an upgrade from my Monitor Audio br1s I currently have in my bedroom. Or should I swap them round and have the Br1s in the main room and the new Zensors 1/3 in my bedroom . Would love to know your views on this.

I would appreciate any suggestions on this as I am new here.

Thanks

Jonathan

The Zensors are the better speakers. Both are excellent, the 3s having a bigger sound as you might expect.

What electronics are you thinking of using the new speakers with?

I have a Denon DRA F109 with the Dali zensor 1's (and a jamo sub 200) for my tv and i have turned the treble down by 1 notch, don't angle them (using digital input and the audioquest whathifi awarded speaker cable), if you want the zensor 1's i would recommend a subwoofer, no need for a subwoofer with the Dali zensor 3's

Hello.

Thanks for replying..

I'm thinking of another Denon. Perhaps the DM39DAB or the DF109DAB, I'm not sure, since they both have optical digital input which I can take advantage of on my AppleTV and BluRay player.
