Dali Ikon 6 - opinion??

Hi all, recently I've an audition of Dali Ikon 6 at the showroom. I found that the treble was very detail and good, but the mid and bass section was not good/ rather weak. Can somebody explain to me, what was the weakness of the system? ( The Cdp and Amp was Moon ). Because the review of this Dalis were good. So can somebody help me with this? Expert or Dali Users?

And I would like to know what Cdp and Amp are the best match for Dali Ikons? Thanks, all opinions and views are really appreciated..

When you say weak do you mean that there wasn't enough or that it wasn't controlled/tight? The Ikon 6 does produce quite a lot of bass and I am surprised that with the Moon it wasnt a good match. What room size did you listen in and what kind of music/volume do you listen to?

Your tastes will dictate the amplification you like, we run the 6's on most amplification without concern so it will be down to your ears.
