Hi Guys

Wondering if anyone out there can recommend which speakers to buy.

In my mind it is a toss up between the Dali Fazons 1 or 2 and the B+W MT35

Is there much difference betrween the Dali Fazon 1 and the Dali Fazon 2

many thanks

Hi,

Have a look here , they have details on the 1 and 2.

Difference being the sub and £300.

I preffered the Motif to the Fazon, the Motif are about £1000 more than the Fazon 1.

AFAIK. There is no MT-35. There's the MT-25 (just under £1000), and the MT-30 (£1500)

Of the two, I guess the MT-30 is the one that's price comparable to the Fazons.

The Dali Fazon is a cracking speaker and you can get it with a Sub1 or Sub2 - The 2 is slightly bigger and is the better choice if you wish to play a lot of music. The sub 1 although smaller is better suited to LFE. Neither sub will push a large room properly though so you may wish to consider a sub from another manufacturer - we recommend the Paradigm SubSe or Seismic 110 as the best partners at the minute.

Both Dali systems deliver a very wide expansive sound with plenty of detail and no fatigue. The soft dome tweeter really helps when you turn it up and doesn't introduce any harshness. All in all it is a cracking set and a nice step up from the Kef 3005 / B&W MT30 systems.

If you are still to buy an amplifier then the Pioneer range works a treat with the Dali's.
