Hi People, I’m hoping someone can give me some advice on a Dacapo Dac I have had for quite a long time now.

It's was in Perfect working order when I used it last a few years ago. When I tried it out again a few weeks back it’s now only working on one channel. If I remember correctly it had a similar problem once before and replacing the input board cured it.

I have tried all the usual things like cleaning the contacts etc but no luck.

Does anyone know where I can pick up another input board or somewhere I can take it to have it looked at and repaired.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

Phil.

Welcome to the forum Phil. To be honest Ive never heard of Dacapo. If you can't find them online it might be easier to buy a new DAC. What sort of price range was it when you bought it?

Thanks for getting back to me. I should have said it's a Pink Triangle DaCapo Dac and cost me if remember about £1500 so I don't really want to bin it if I can help it.

Pink Triangle are no longer in Business so I need either someone that has spares or repairs them.

I may be wrong but I think your dac was designed by John Westlake who designed the new Audiolab cd 8200. He sometimes posts on a DIY forum you maybe can get help from.
