DAC to Sonos S5

I wanted to know if i can connect a dac to sonos s5? Is there a need to do that in the first place?

No, you can not connect the S5 to a DAC as it does not have any digital outputs.

There is no need to do this anyay, the whole point of the S5 is that it is a 'one box does it all' product.
