Cyrus new models & upgrades

My current system is 2 mono x 200'. Dac xp+ With a psxr and a stream xv2.

as always I'm tempted to upgrade and looking a the DAC xp signature. Does upgrading to the latest models make such a difference. I could upgrade both my power amp and steam to the signature models, but is it worth it ?

I doubt it. You've already got dual mono 200W amps. Lovely! Unless you wanted to run some horrendously difficult speakers (e.g. Martin Logans), I doubt you'd get any VFM from an upgrade. IMO at that level money is better spent on speakers.

But that's just one person's opinion, and though I've owned some Cyrus gear, I haven't been up to your level.

Nice system. I used to have the same setup but with the 300's instead of the 200's and a squeezebox touch instead of the Cyrus streamer.

Don't forget that "signature" just means that the product has a signature sound or appearance. It doesn't mean that it is necessarily better, just different. It might be better of course, I haven't heard it, but only your ears can tell you whether or not it is.
