crossover and phase switch??

just recently purchased the dali zensor 1 5.1 and yamaha RX-V675. its my first proper system and was wondering what i should set my crossover and volume to on the subwoofer?? and what is the phase switch all about?? this is all so new to me guys so would appreciate the help. thanks alot.

Crossover - let the amp filter the level by setting the sub to max hz. (150 - 200hz?). Set the amp to 60hz and all speakers to small.

Phase - just try each to see which sounds best.

Then when you want to tweak begin to experiment with crossovers etc.

I assume you have used the auto setup initially but it rarely gets everything right.
