crackling noise

ive got a crackling noise on my centre kef speaker 2005.3 is it likely that the speaker has blown ?

May be worthwhile swapping with one of your satellites to ascertain if the fault lies elsewhere.

could be a prob with your amp? (dirty pot) ...

swop the speaker wires around and see if you still get the same problem with the same speaker
