300 sounds about average
Your other option is to buy a sensor and have a go yourself
I've got the eye one sensor and HFCR software I can get a good 2 point greyscale (30 & 80% IRE) but cannot get a good 20 point, same with the colours can get reasonable primaries, secondaries are abit hit and miss tho. According to an in depth 50PK990 review online I read it was possible to dial the greyscale and colours in until they were spot on throughout the range but obviously they were using better meters/software than i have access to as i can get anywhere near it on some settings. Found someone in Norfolk now so just waiting on a quote Cheers
If you can do a 2 point greyscale, why can't you get a decent 20 point? The exact same theory and process applies to both. You may have difficulties below 20 IRE, but then so will an ISF calibrator unless they have invested £5k in a Klein K-10 meter or similar.
Same with the primaries and secondaries, if you have direct control over the secondaries (I'm not familiar with your set), there should be no reason why you can't dial these in the same way as the primaries.
If you can get your Delta errors below 3 for a 20 point greyscale, primaries and secondaries, there is probably not a massive amount (visibly) that an ISF calibrator can add. Sure if they tackle a set that has not been calibrated, the difference can be night and day, and I would recommend anyone get an ISF calibrator in if they don't want to dip their toe in the 'calibrating' waters, but it sounds to me like you are half way there towards doing it yourself - if you have read and unerstood what you are trying to achieve on a two point greyscale and colour gamut correction, and have mastered the meter and software enough to make changes, you have climbed the steepest part of the learning curve already.
