Hi,

anyone here (esp.WHF team) have any experience on this tube integrated amp, pls share with me. is it worth to replace my Exposure 2010s? Hard to find Copland review on WHF.....

Its a geat product and I could live with it easely but it does'nt sound like a valve amplifier (it is'nt apart from a couple of valves in the input stage). Its controlled and focussed but has the valve traits of a midrange with texture. It's not that powerful by solid state standards though I would imagine a wide range of speakers are suitable as its a fairly neutral sound. It'll be a big step up from your exposure but listen to it first before commiting.

I have had CSA28 and NAIM 5i with Audio Physic speakers, home for 10 days, for a trial.

The COPLAND is better, sweeter, clearer sound, wider soundstage. I asked the dealer for a price, and he said 1500euros for a 4year old demo.

So now Im looking for something new at this price.

u r rite, price is the matter. still wondering how special this copland is, for that price i can get 2 set of roksan kandy L3

The copland costs about 3 and a half times as the unison research unico on the second hand market ,which is also a hybrid model, but from what I've heard in terms of sound and build is a fairly significant step up, being more nuanced, finely detailed, powerful and especially superior at lower listening levels.

Hi Vasada,

I appreciate the trail may have gone cold with your post but I thought I would mention in any case that I have a second hand Copland CSA 28 that I dont need anymore. If you are interested, give me a shout.

A friend of mine has a csa 28. Lovely natural sounding amp with a nice powerful sound through epos es11's. Amazing tank like build too.
