connection advice for blu-ray bd30 to denon 1906 amp

I've connected the bd30 to the denon amp using 5.1 analogue outs but when selecting pcm on the ratatouille film it doesn't display pcm on the amp.

The amp should display 'analogue multichannel' I think. However, you would still be hearing linear PCM, just double check the settings on both the amp and bd30 to be sure.

I have to press the ext. in button to get sound, nothing else seems to work, hence my amp display reads 'ext.in'. What setting should I be using on the bd30?
