No, I think you'd have to use an external device to access the internet, and the Samsung as the display for that device.

Hi Paul - no its not possible to connect directly. the manual advises that any firmware upates can be carried out by downloading the update to a memory stick and loading it via the USB socket and tv menu's.

Hi. thanks for both getting back to me, so what you are saying Andy, i can connect my computer to the tv and use the tv just as the monitor

Paul - yep, thats what Andrew is saying. The manual suggests connecting your pc via either one of the HDMI sockets (if supported by your pc) or via the 15 pin d-sub socket on the tv.
