Hi folks, Hopping you can help me out.

I am looking at buying a new tv, budget is idealy no more than £600 and I would like 37"-42". I currently have an old CRT tv so anything is going to be better than it! As I dont have an aerial, almost everything comes through my PS3 or PC. I also do quite a big of gaming so would like a tv suitable for that. As my flat has a dish, free sat would be a welcome bouns, but I am not too fussed with it.

I like the looks of the Samsung 'LED' tvs in the shops, but understand its a completly different enviroment than at home. Does anyone have one hooked up to a PS3 and play 'dark' games? Whats it like?

As for sound quality, I am also in the market for a system aswell, so quality from the tv is irrelavent.

Thanks in advance!

You want gaming, Freesat and a set up to 42in for @ £600. I'd suggest the Panasonic TX-P42G20 should be on your shortlist - 42in plasma set with both Freesat and Freeview HD tuners. Currently just under £650 (bargain!) at Richer Sounds - click here

This model has issue with buzzing and I have had to returned two of these TV's. The guys were very honest at RS (where I bought my LG set from), when I asked if there were any known issues with this set they did mention buzzing. The salesman even acknowledged the display model had the same problem.

Just thought I'd let you know. Real shame, because it is a superb TV at that price.
