Simple question, on the back of my PX80 there's a port called Common Interface; what's it for? What is Common Interface?

I see. Have any 'PayTV' services taken off in the UK then?

Don't think so, I think it's more of a states thing although I don't know why it's featured on UK tv/s.

Some servives, such as those offered on the terrestrial platform by TopUpTV, and the likes of Setanta Sports, need a viewing card to allow them to be received. This card fits in a Conditional Access Module, or CAM, which connects to this socket.
