cloudy spot on screen..argh.

Hi. I woke up thi smorning to see a smokey spot on the screen..Any idea to what this could be? the set has not been knocked in anyway. i wish i has sruck to an LCD

Bit sparse on the info there...what tv model/manufacturer are we talking about? Age? Warranty? Any other symptons?

Obviously your tv is plasma so are we talking about a spot which is on the glass or actually on the screen and therefore affecting picture quality? Does it look like the remnants of heat like you get with a fire or a cloudy spot like you get with backlight issues on an LCD/LED?

I had a strange cloudy issue with my Panasonic plasma so just wondering if it's the same or similar issue.

Panasonic 50gt50 is the plasma i refer too. Its more like a cloudy dusty circular spot. like when you light a match to plastic you get the smokey effect before it burns. could be described has backlight but as pronounced . i did seem to disappear yeaterday evening but returned again this morning... But smaller. strange. Thi sis the second panel, and i have had it since jan 2013. it isn't effecting picture quality so i assume its on the screen itself..?
