Had an email from Chord about the Soltice range last week, info's a bit vague atm but heres what they had to say.......
ADVANCE INFORMATION
The new Solstice Standard
The Chord Company has been hand building cables for over 20 years.
During this whole period we have always tried to transfer the most music from
your chosen system to you (We also have our own systems and love to make them
better as well).
It is not often that we are surprised. The Solstice cables take systems
to a different level. Everyone that has heard the prototypes has been genuinely
shocked and pleased. Systems that they hadn't rated suddenly took on a
new level of performance.
Currently we are taking these cables round to a limited number our UK
retailers to let them experience the performance that these cables offer.Solstice currently uses the highest standard of materials and intensive
effort to produce if you like it will be our formula 1 cable.
As always we are
striving to control the costs of producing these cables but the cost will be
above our current flagships. On a positive note the performance is breath
taking (even if we say so ourselves).
The Solstice range will include a power cable interconnects of course
and speaker cable. Once we have sorted out the dealers that want demonstrate
the cables then we will post a full list on our web site.

FYI - Chord have been for a while working on a new speaker cable, one better than the Signature. The signature is still going to be in production & thankfully NOT discontinued. The new speaker cable Retails at roughly £1000/metre for a stereo pair. Very expensive.
Selected Dealers within the next 2 weeks will be getting them instore, so ring Chord up for more information. Chord will send you an information pack out if your interested in the speaker cable. And it wont be long before they are being produced for consumers to buy
