Recently aquired a new Cyrus cd based system after learning that id require BFC banana plugs to connect my speakers to the Cyrus 8 amp thought id alleviated any set up problems . I have however created one lol . Can ayone tell me how to get the "easy slip" plastic cover off the metal plug so i can loosen the screws and push in my speaker cable . The plugs are Chord , and have either a red or black plastic cover over half their length covering the tightening screws .
Help

Not sure what yours are like, but these ones come apart by pushing down the lugs (seen in the slot in the red / black ends) with a small flat-bladed screwdriver:

I've got a Cyrus 8 amp too - using every rear connector except PSU - gets a bit cramped to say the least). You might want to leave an extension headphone lead plugged in at the back and front-mounted (Since the h/p output is switchable on the front).

Sorbothane feet, nothing to do with sound, but to stop it sliding on its felt feet as I press the buttons.
