Checksum software

I need a good piece of software to create and monitor checksums for my music files. I find it very hard to find a good program for Windows.
Either they are not very user friendly or they do not process file with accents.

I now use fastSum that is rather user friendly but unfortunatelt cannot deal with accented letters with as a result that every time a run a validation it reports the music files with accented letters are missing.

Does anyone have something better?

You need to go to a dedicated computer forum not a H-Fi forum, as Hi-Fi users are not interested in what goes on under the hood, only how it affects their enjoyment of music.

Does the Microsoft tool FCIV not do what you want? Search for and download FCIV and you can use the certUtil.exe tool (should already be installed on Windows) to verify.

Otherwise Google is your friend.
