Hello all

I am looking for suggestions for a centre speaker to go with my MA RS1s at the front. I currently have a Mission M3C1i which I'm finding a little bit muddy for dialogue and seems to struggle to compete when set up using the auto calibration facility of my Yamaha DSP-AX763. I would have gone for a MA Silver or Bronze centre but they are too big and would obscure the tv in my current setup. I have been wondering about the MA Radius R250 as I thought it might be a tonal match for the other MAs and would have reasonable bass (I don't have a Subwoofer and have no plans to get one at present). Does anyone have any experience with this or any other suggestions. I'm looking to spend £200 max but £100 preferable and am prepared to go second hand. Many thanks.

Well you can either go with a used RS LCR, which is the 'matching' centre for your RS1's, or you can go for the Radius R250HD. It won't quite match up like the RS LR will, but it's fairly close tonally. If you do, set your RS1's to large (which they should be already), and the R250HD to small, so the RS1's deal with the lower bass, which will ease the load on the R250HD.
