Hi,

Depend what exactly you want to do. Do you have only B&O stereo system and want to upgrade it to home cinema?
Or maybe you have whole B&O audio system with media center? Than it is better to use dediacated B&O speakers.

Hi there,

What setup do have (is it full B&O or is it connected via an amp) also is it a surround sound 5.1 or just stereo? I would very very highly recommend the beolab 7.1 centre, it is absolutely awesome and the clarity i have heard nothing better, you can pick them up second hand from ebay from reputable B&O resellers. any more help let me know and i will be more than happy to advise.

I seem to remember seeing something (prob complete rubbish) that some B & O TVs will act as a centre in a B&O surround set up.

I may have dreamt that !!

Nope, they're (B&O TV's) designed to be the centrepiece of an AV system as well as an standalone TV.

So.... all their current TV's have active, yes, fully active, speakers, which can do double duty as the centre channel in an AV role. They also incorporate a state of the art surround sound processor and preamp/DAC.

I'm doing exactly this with my B&O V1-40 + B&O Lab 9's - it's an awesome system i have to say!

Also extremely stylish, excellent retained value, and a minimalist box count in every way - not just electronics but speakers as well.

I"ve only had them (Lab 9's) a couple of weeks, but am overjoyed at the results... costly yes, - which has taken a lot of waiting on my part to get there - .... but worth every penny IMHO.

It's very suprising to some audiophiles that B&O can make such amazingly good kit....maybe because the company doesn't really market to audiophiles per se, and so they're a little ignorant perhaps of their R&D, design, engineering and manufacturing expertise.

Obviously I'm biased - something would be wrong if I wasn't...lol... but easily the finest kit I've ever had the pleasure to own, overall, and amongst the very finest I've ever heard on sonic grounds.

Hello

What brand- different than b&o, will match the best as a center speaker for the bang olufsen sound ?

My advice would be to go 2nd hand B&O. No substitute for it really, bc every other make will have a different sound signature. TBH if you got any of the beolab speakers with acoustic lens I very mouch doubt I would need a center speaker. If you do feel you need one, for recommandations I concur with earlier postings.

2nd hand can go via B&O (usually with garantee to some point)

or ebay which is more of a gamble, but probably lower prices. Hear for yourself before you buy.
