cd player to av receiver connection

Hi. Just want to know what is the best way to connect a cd player to a receiver? At present, I am using coaxial cable. Cheers!

Depends on what you've got - some receivers will improve a budget CD player if you use a digital connection rather than analogue, others will sound best using standard analogue connection.

I agree - you'll just have to try it and find out.

Try hooking up both ways, each to a different input on the amp. This'll let you swap between the two inputs quickly for speedy comparisons.
