I am currently using my Arcam FMJ DV29 and Arcam AVR350 for my stereo music.

I would like to buy a dedicated CD player and stereo amp. What price range should I be looking for that would be equal or an improvement to what I have?

Would the recommended budget range from Nad or Marantz be the same sound quality or would I be looking at the Mid-range set ups from the like of Roksan and Cyrus?

Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

As far as amps go, this £1900 effort at less than half price will cane the AV amp. A Marantz SA8003 CDP (circa £750), Yamaha CD1000 (£similar) or one of the other brands you mentioned, will do likewise to the DVD player and then some. Better still, go to a similar dealer such as Jordan Audio (who have the above amp on Ebay) and get some higher end stuff for a similar price. You'll keep it for years.
