Can I watch NTSC on a Samsung UE48H6470 TV?

I have a Samsung UE48H6470 (bought in Germany where I live). There's a DVD box set I'd like to buy but it's only available as a region 1 import from the US, in NTSC format.

Assuming I have a multi-region DVD player, can the TV handle NTSC?

yes.

NTSC/PAL was only really an issue with CRT tv's.
