The last paragraph of ‘Sound’ and the ‘Verdict’ unfortunately does not make it sound as if the new amplifier will be as all-conquering as the CX81 was on its introduction , especially at the new amp’s price.

I wish Cambridge would put a good headphone amp and a better preamp on this streamer.

I am looking for a new streamer for my Genelec G3 active speakers and want to keep my box count to a minimum.

Can’t imagine it sounding much better than my 851N connected to 851E and 851W(x2)
