Hoping someone might be able to offer advice on this product. My local Richer Sounds has one left but weren't keen to demo it and put stuff on the hard disk, (which has made me not keen to buy it, but it may be my only option).
So, without a demo, I'm wondering:-
1. Is it useable without a TV, (reviews and info suggest it is, but RS reckon it isn't)
2. Is there a big issue with fan noise? Nothing in the WHF review, but some online reviews have said it's loud
3. How does the sound measure up to something like the CD6002?
4. How does the Cambridge Audio match up with Marantz amps?
If anyone has any experience of the 640H or can help with any of the above I'd really appreciate your input.
