Calling all Panasonic Viera TH-37PX80 owners

hi, all this talk about the Panasonic Viera TH-37PX80 ive decided to get onw very shortly but i cant find anywhere that gives me the info about what vesa size bracket i will need, im hoping to use my existing one but would like to know for sure so if i need to change its here when my tv arrives. Would be very grateful if someone could find out for me thanks

Ah well, it seemed a good shout. There are several existing TH37PX80 owners on here, so maybe if you retitle the thread to 'calling any owners of...' or something, they'll come to your aid?

It gets no mention, was looking for the 42px80 size and found nothing, they share the same manual.

ty but it dont quite say what im after, think i will just have to wait for new plasma to arrive to see if existing bracket is compatible

Why don`t you give them a call - 0800 011 4584 - they are open today 9am - 9pm

The site gives measurements of the brackets so why not check if they are the same as the bracket you have now?

its ok, i just pull my lcd away from the wall and checked my bracket and its adjustable to suit different sizes now to find the box (i hope) to check the weight issue

hello,

the other Panasonics (including the 42PX80) have the mounitng bolt holes exactly 26 inches apart and 13 inches vertically, does your mount go that wide, if so then you'll be looking good

if thats the case im looking at another mounting bracket then mine will only go about 21inches wide but has the height, damn didnt really want the expense of another bracket oh well **** happens

I assume Pannys are the same screen to screen on the mounting holes, this is why I checked with mine on the 42PX80 as the Pannys are unusual in being 26 inches wide

got it all sorted now, been in contact with the guy i bought current bracket from on ebay, and he is sorting my new one, thxs all for your help
