Would running different size speaker cables, i mean lengh alter the sound on a 2 channel system left to right?

Alter the sound.........Some say no and some say yes.

There will definately be a difference in the electrical characteristics but there is a big debate on wether you will be able to hear the difference.

Play safe and keep them the same if at all possible

It shouldn't make a difference if there are capacitors in the speaker circuitry. As long as they're fully loaded, which takes nanoseconds (methinks) then the length of the cables shouldn't make a difference, only diameter etc.

Of course this is only coming from GCSE and A level electronics.

Unless I'm wrong then I appologise for not listening much in school.

Not sure what you mean about capacitors but timing differences aren't ever going to be audible and as long as thick enough cable is used there won't be any imbalance either.

As for what Jesus would do, well not a lot if the past 2000 years are anything to go by.
