buzzing sub

Hi my Kef psw2010 sub has started buzzing when awitched on. To be honest its not been over used but get the feeling it has had it or will be expensive to repair. I have had it since 04 so well out of warranty now. Anyone have any advice or have had same problem? The sub came as part of the Kef 2005 speaker package

Thanks for the help. I will try out all the ideas but i think i may end up buying a new sub, but you never know!.
