Buffering during playback of network movies

I am streaming BluRay movies stored on my WD 4TB NAS drive through a Dlink Boxee streamer and the into my Yamaha RX-810A AV amp but suffering a buffing delay at intervals during playback

The NAS is connected to the Boxee with a Cat6 cable and then the Boxee is conneced to the amp via a HDMI cable and finaly a hdmi cable from the amp to the TV.

Can any one sugest why this is happening? could it be the capacity of the Boxee or the capacity of the Amp that is strugling with the high data flow of the BluRay file?

how are the movies stored? I've heard of issues with boxees not liking blu ray iso's very much, but converting them to mkv seems to work better.

The BluRays are rippeed to M2ts format, I will try converting a movie to MKV and check the results
