Budget speakers for wooden house, Alix3D2 - Nova Peachtree

Moved into a wooden house, one big speaker so to say. Listening room is about 30M2. Technically what speakers would you guys recommend for Nova Peachtree with Alix3D2 as Computer-Audio-Source (CAS) system by PC-Engines/Voyage. I favor Etymotics 4P sound. Mucis mostly Jazz and Classical, Roy Hargrove, Pink Floyd, Shirley Bassey etc. Not playing loud. Budget around USD 700,-.

Not sure of US market, can you get Epos Epic 3s for that money.

I did read an article about rooms for hifi and they said something like if you live in a wooden house then move, presume most of the bass will go through the walls.

So I would go for something sensitive and with some bass, maybe Floorstanders would better?

I was hoping for acoustic benefits, thanks a lot for the advice BigH, I'll go hunt for a pair of Epos Epics with floorstand.
