Bose Companion 5 Multimedia Speakers

I'm thinking of adding speakers to my computer for listening to music , i don't have a great budget ( £150 )

Though all the listening would mainly be background music i noticed on the bose website you can pay monthly for the companion 5 speaker set which i can afford to do

Are these speakers any good ?

Sorry Landzw - I just noticed that you can't do private messages on this forum.

My speakers are 2 years old and are currently plugged into my iMac. They work great and I find the sound really clear.
