Bluetooth high pitched noise

I've recently bought a Yamaha YBA-10 bluetooth receiver to pick up the digital music from my dell laptop.

However, there's a permanent high pitched noise coming out of the speakers (KEF 3005 on a Yamaha AX763 receiver). The music is clear, but the noise is in the background.

There's a Wii, HDTV, Sky+ box and DVD player also on the stand and I thought it might be the Wii interfering, but unplugging it does nothing.

Can somebody suggest what this might be, it's driving me mad!

Dunno, but as a first step I would try to borrow someone's laptop so you can eliminate that from your enquiries.

I've done some more experimenting, but still have the problem.

So far, I've disconnected everything around the amp and run the laptop on battery.

What I've noticed is that when the amp is on on it's own there is no noise, however as soon as I switch the laptop on and the bluetooth connection is made the noise starts even before I go into I-tunes to play any music. It's this noise that continues in the background when the music is playing.ÿ

The best way that I can explain the noise is like an electrical buzzingÿ
