Bluetooth Headphones & Your TV...

Hi,

I was hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice… I’m looking to pick up a high quality set of Bluetooth headphones that I can connect to my new TV / Cinema kit.

I was wondering what I would need to buy in addition to the headphones? I know that they will connect to Phones, MP3’s & laptops without requiring additional accessories, but I was unsure about my TV, as it won’t have the Bluetooth technology installed…

Any ideas?

You'll need to get a bluetooth transmitter and plug it into your TV. Or you could get RF headphones - you can get some really high quality ones these days from the likes of Sennheiser, Sony e.t.c.

Thanks. Was looking at picking up the Sony DR-BT50 Bluetooth Headphones and the tansmitter also from Sony. I've just read somewhere though that you can't connect these up to the PS3. Is this true?

Maybe I was getting ahead of myself, but I though it would be possible to connect the headphones to my entire system. Would I need to be switching the connection around depending on if I'm watching Sky, or a blueray disc or Can I just make one permanent connection to the set up?
