Bluetooth audio from the new iPad, iPhone 4s and MacMini 2009 ?

Can I listen to music from the above devices via bluetooth-connected apt-x headphones using apt-x (without a transmitter dongle)?

Got a quick reply from a chap working at apt-x company via apple suport forums -

apt-x is supported in snow leopard but not in ipads or iphones.

bummer!

would have been nice to enjoy hi-quality sound on wireless headphones with the portables like ipads/iphones. dongles are clumsy - especially with portables!
