Blue-ray choice

Hello everyone,

I want to buy a new blue-ray player, but wandering witch is the best; the oppo 103, the Marantz ud7007, or the uhp-h1 from Sony.

Witch has the best sound ? witch has the best apps ? and finally witch has really 5.1 sound on netflix ?

i'm stuck with my search on the internet, please some advice...

What's the rest of your system like? Have you got a sound system?

If connecting via HDMI, you won't notice any difference in sound.

Sony has the best apps, although you can add a Roku streaming stick specifically for Oppo which will be superiorto Sony in app content. Both Oppo and Sony will give 5.1 sound on Netflix. Not sure about Marantz as haven't checked the app content in person.

You've got an excellent AV receiver. Simply select the blu ray player to bitstream audio to the Rotel to decode. There won't be any difference in audio, regardless of what blu ray player you choose.

If your budget stretches to Oppo, why not buy a Panny (or Oppo) UHD BDP?
