Hi is there much in the way of "Blu-Ray DVD Recorders"..

Aside from the pricey Freesat equpped PVR/HDD/Blu-ray recorders from Panasonic(DMR-BS850 around £800 and the DMR-BS750 around £500),not really no.

I was in Japan in November, and Sony make a large range of these, but they've yet to release them here. Not sure what's keeping them - the new 370/570/770 player range has been announced, but no word of them releasing recorders here yet. The Panny represents really poor value. Currently, I use a DVD recorder and a BD player (although I cannot record HD telly to the DVD recorder).
