Having a blonde moment- what way shoud the arrow point in directional speaker cable? Towards the amp or towards the speakers?

I think it's towards the amp but need confirmation before I start this major rewire job

Towards the speakers, think of the movement of the signal.

The arrow is intended to point towards the speakers - at least it is with the cable I use.

However, the signal which goes to the speakers is alternating current (AC) which means that providing both cables point the same way, there should be no audible difference.

Okay, will one of you clever chaps now please tell me how to rewind my CDs? It gets really expensive whne I can only play them once.

OK OK so I know it's a stupid question!

Here is another one then. Does it matter what red and black (or in this case white) goes to what speaker terminal? I have not used biwire cable before and have got some old Mission quartet cable and the cable has two reds on one side and two whites on t'other- it is a flat cable.

Ta in advance

Yes that does matter.

However I have never bi-wired anything so will leave that to someone else. (Preferably your speaker and amp instructions as i have seen bi-wire 'experts' disagree on this and it is important not to get it wrong!)
