Wow, very impressed with new BD player (Sony S370) as regards PQ, but a definite OMG moment with SQ,and by LPCM to the amp, fabulous.

Looking forward to tinkering some more to see what else can be done!

Very pleased at this price level, don't think I had expected quite so much

Spent the last two nights watching and re-watching, Avatar,Alice, Inglerious and The Dark Knight

So now for Hurt Locker, Saving Private Ryan etc

Oh what? You gotta be kidding! I bought the 350 last year as my very first outing and liked it at just over £160 s/h. Now they're selling better at less. I hate technology! Well, 'ish'.

Glad you're reaping the benefits.

sure did, the Sony 760 and Cambridge 650 side by side, the LG 390 looked good also

Got to a point where I just said I want a BDP, can't decide on the mid range stuff, (with the new models coming out later this year as well) can't afford the high end, and Richer Sounds were doing the S370 for £110.00 (inc £30 off trade in)!

Had a look, no brainer, absolutely cracking for just over 100 notes!!

Even better, ordered up 2 x That Cable HDMI leads for £10.00 and it is all done

Amazing quality for relatively small money

I have to agree. Sound quality in particular is fantasic

Digital SACD is better than my Pioneer LX50

It also upscales dvds VERY well (After some 'run in' time)

For the money its awesome

put it this way, I didn't notice and "real" or "perceived" difference, bearing in mind this was in store, I reckon that maybe (but only maybe) there could be for the more expensive models, couldn't see a £170.00 to £280.00 difference though.Might be on sound output as I couldn't audition that, but as I have said the SQ from the 370 seems to be top rate

Urgency for buying was I wanted Blu Ray, will have a look at the new models later in the year to see if it is worth spending more more, but right now this unit does it for me
