Visited WHF today, obviously can't say what we did, but I would like to extend a big thank you to Jonathan & co for a very interesting and enjoyable day.

If any of you guys can spend the time, it is well worth it.

Once again many thanks[:D]

Yes, it was a good day - lots of gear around at WHF towers. Full of gear! Very nice location near the river right near the locks, pubs near by and a very nice day. Our host Jonathan was very good and dedicated a lot of time to the visit.

The findings of 'the big question' were very interesting as well. Can't wait to see it in the print.

Yes, totally agree. Interesting test rooms and a great location !

I was there for last month's Big Question and I'm quite looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Sorry: I'm too scared to ask now, JD.

You've seemed a little (how can I put it?)... busy in the past few weeks

Sorry, should have said first:

many thanks Paul, Denis and Gavin for taking the time to come and see us.

Our findings should make interesting reading, I think.

Oh, was my pleasure! the findings surely were. We'll see about the reading ...

I dont think there is an age limit, I was 70 last birthday, and I was able to shock everyone with my memories of what things cost when I was a small boy. £1 bought 80 ice creams!!!!

Ronald Archiebald:Would you accept an old man that isn't very knowledgeable about these things?

Knowledge isn't everything, Ronald. An open mind and a reasonably functioning set of ears and eyes are pretty much all we're after.

As long as you're able and willing to get down to Teddington on the relevant date, we'll take anyone!

I'm just sorting out dates for the next couple of days - although I've got a few on a waiting list now - so watch this space. (Or rather, not this specific one, but a new thread not far from here.)

all the best

Jonny

AlmaataKZ:All fine, thanks! And how is your diesel? Have you tried to change some cables and see if there is any difference
emotion-2.gif

Its much better now, very little smoke and there is more power low down.

You know my opinion of cable changes!

Looks like the garage increased the bit rates and added a sub then?

Ronald Archiebald:I am humbled, Paul. I am considerably younger than you so you have just made me very happy and motivated!

I'm glad I've made your day
