Hey everyone, I have a Pioneer LX509A (Australian version of Pioneer's LX5090 panel from last year) and am slightly frustrated by the judder I get from panning and motion in general. I've tried a number of different combinations by switching both the drive mode (display frequency i.e. 75hz, 100hz etc) as well as the film mode (in advanced picture settings i.e. advance, smooth etc). It's the only thing that frustrates me about it! There are so many possible variations, I just can't find the ideal setting. Any help would be much appreciated!

Regards,

Tarkan.

Hi Tarxman, Try movie mode, Contrast 40, Brightness 38 to 40,colour +2, Tint 0,

sharpness 0 Pro Adjust Film Mode off or Advanced for BD 24 fps, Picture Detail Dre low

Black level On, Acl Off, Enhancer Mode 2, Gamma 2, Colour Detail Low, Colour Space 1 everything else is turned off. For sport I use the Sport Mode Reduse the contrast to 36 , Brightness to - 2 no other changes required.

I think having the Brightness between 38 and 40 is a bit excessive! I've set mine to +2 after using the DVE Basic Blu-ray. Having the Sharpness at 0 displays artefacts, especially around people and other objects, mine's set at -12. But, each to their own.

Drive Mode 2 will help reduce judder.
